Purpose (descriptive reference)
This page presents a descriptive reference framework that outlines how commonly discussed governance and oversight discussion dimensions can be organized and referenced when interpreting survey-based evidence.
The purpose of this framework is to provide shared reference terms for discussion and citation across organizations, rather than to prescribe compliance requirements or to disclose detailed questionnaire implementation.
This page does not disclose questionnaire implementation details and should be read together with Methodology for measurement design and White Paper for issue-specific evidence.

Governance discussion dimensions (reference labels)
The reference labels below describe discussion dimensions that frequently appear in governance, oversight, and risk assessment conversations related to home AI and robotics. These labels are intended to function as shared reference terms.
They are descriptive rather than normative, and are not presented as regulatory checklists or compliance criteria.
Legend:
D = Dimension (reference label). These identifiers are for navigation and citation only
and do not correspond to legal articles, regulatory requirements, or compliance criteria.
Note: “D” here refers to discussion dimensions and is not related to the “Data Governance”
layer in the J-HAB framework.
| ID | Dimension label (reference description) |
|---|---|
| D-01 | Perceived privacy expectations in private life and home contexts |
| D-02 | Perceived intrusion into dignity or intimate personal space |
| D-03 | Perceived burden of observation or surveillance |
| D-04 | Concerns related to data processing, storage, and transmission |
| D-05 | Perceived loss of control associated with autonomous behavior |
| D-06 | Expectations regarding transparency, notice, and explainability |
| D-07 | Concerns about third-party sharing and cross-border data handling |
| D-08 | Trust gaps related to overseas providers or origin effects |
| D-09 | Tolerance for safety or emergency intervention |
| D-10 | Vulnerable situations or persons as contextual factors |
Measurement areas covered by this survey
The survey underlying this reference framework operationalizes these discussion dimensions through a set of high-level measurement areas. Detailed item wording and questionnaire structure are intentionally not disclosed on this page.
- General presence and baseline reluctance toward home AI
- Variation by room and sensor type
- Contextual and scenario-based reluctance
- Tolerance for autonomous behavior
- Attitudes toward data sensitivity, retention, and processing
- Cross-border trust and mitigation conditions
For a canonical description of how these areas are interpreted, referenced, and cited in practice, please refer to the White Paper.
Note on item wording and controlled documentation
Full item wordings, response options, and detailed questionnaire logic are maintained as controlled documentation. They may be made available for bona fide research, audit, or policy review purposes under the published Data Access policy.
